YouTube: Autumn Berry Makeup Tutorial

Hello there! Excuse me for skipping last Sunday's Video...
But today I am back with something brand spanking new, a makeup tutorial. Something very different to my usual video, but I really wanted to give the whole makeup tutorial thing a go! There's something about talking and applying makeup at the same time  I find very difficult. Somehow I even managed to absolutely nail my liquid eyeliner ON CAMERA!

I have gone for an Autumnal inspired berry makeup look and this is what I have been wearing a lot recently. I hope you like the finished look, let me know!

Food Festival Happiness!

On Sunday I had one of the most loveliest days! Probably because it involved eating food and wandering around markets, a favourite combination of mine! Every year in my hometown they put on a big food festival around Autumn time, featuring over 100 stalls,  selling lots of different local produce! Me being a massive foody, I always make sure I keep that date free!! This year me and my friend Hannah went along together. It was such a nice day, walking from stall to stall, tasting all the different foods they had to offer. These were some of my favourites...
Every year I see people walking around with these huge sticks of sprouts! So this year I treated my dad to some. Lucky old dad... He does love sprouts, but I think he was expecting something a little bit tastier!
Our bags were full to the brim, so we stopped off at Nero's for a long coffee break! We had a really good catch up and looked through all the yummy things we had bought!
After walking home, we enjoyed a slice of the carrot cake loaf and a cup of tea!
... and here is everything I bought! The homemade scotch egg and the Toblerone cupcake were my favourites!
It's safe to say I had a very happy tummy on Sunday!

The Origins GinZing Moisturiser

Hello, today I want to talk moisturiser! To be honest in the past I have never invested in a "decent" moisturiser. But this I can confirm, is very decent! I have been using this product for around 4 months now, so I feel as though my opinion is pretty solid and a worthy review!

The first thing I have to say about this product, it smells of freaking orange starbursts!! But unlike starbursts it doesn't leave you skin feeling sticky! In fact it does the complete opposite! The formula is a very lightweight, creamy texture, verging on a gel like formula. The product applies very nicely, taking only a couple minutes before the moisturiser has left the surface of your face and completely disappeared into your skin. This is great because it feels as though my skin is being hydrated almost instantly, as if my face was super thirsty and wanted a big cup of water!

Which brings me onto my next point, this product is perfect to use before applying your makeup, because you are not left with any greasy residue. Which is exactly what I do and works very well for me! As well as using this as a morning moisturiser, I also use this on a night time just before bed. This also works great, I wake up the next morning with my face feeling as smooth as a babies bottom! I also love to use this product when I am having no makeup days because I feel that it makes my skin feel very refreshed and polished!

Recently my skin has been a little unusual, I haven't been getting spots, more like lots of little rough bumps! The reason I am saying this is because originally I wasn't using a moisturiser whilst I was getting these strange bumps, because I was certain this would worsen the problem by adding extra oil and grease. So because my skin was neither improving or getting worse, I decided to bring this little product back into play! This most definitely improved my skin situation by a mile.  I then went on to realise that the Origins GinZing moisturiser is an oil-free formula, which makes perfect sense to me now! Okay, story time over!

I definitely think Origins is one of the few, more affordable brands in the high end skincare category. For me they definitely come out top for pricing and quality! This product is priced at £23.

You can buy this product here & here!

You may have noticed the other little guy in the photo?! Stay tuned for the eye cream review soon to come!

YouTube: Favourite Drugstore Products!

Well hey! Today is Sunday, which means video time! I have to say this is definitely my favourite video that I've filmed so far! It even includes some fancy close ups (oooooooh!). In this video I talk about all my current favourite beauty products from the drugstore! Though I did realise when I was editing this video that I own no eyebrow products from the drugstore, so if you know of any good'uns, let me know in the comments!

WAGON'S COFFEE BAR!

This bank holiday Monday I hung out with my bestest friend, Em! We spent the afternoon catching up over a late breakfast at the Wagon's Coffee Bar, down Princess Avenue in Hull.
Unfortunately where we had planned on going was actually closed, so this place was our option B! It caught my eye because of all the pastel coloured writing on the window! I FREAKING LOVE PASTEL COLOURS!!!
The cafe was very small with around 5 tables. It had just the right amount of space between each table so you didn't feel all squashed together!
The cafe was like a little vintage shop too! It sold lots of pretty jewellery, hand bags and gifts! I enjoyed spotting all the different things scattered around the cafe that you could buy! Very clever idea... Okay... I may or may have not bought a pair of earrings!
Okay, so I ordered something very different, nothing like I had tried before! A Mexican hot chocolate!? It was made with dark chocolate and cinnamon, so it was kind of spicy in a nice kind of way! I loved all the miss matchy cups and saucers! I especially liked the way they put a normal mug served on a china saucer! I would never think of doing something like that, but I think it worked really well.
I do a great drinking pose... NOT!
Whereas Em seems to do it pretty effortlessly!
So as soon as I saw pancakes on the menu, that was me sold! Of course I ordered the maple syrup pancakes with crispy bacon!
The sweetness of the syrup and the saltiness of the bacon is just soo ummmmm!!! Oh and they also layered butter in-between each pancake, which is very naughty but such a brilliant idea! All the butter soaked into the pancakes... I. Was. In. Heaven!
All gone!
These are the cute little earring I bought!
The place had a very creative, quirky vibe going on! I especially loved the way they displayed their menu's in funky looking photo frames!
