What The Fudge?

On Sunday, Emma and I had such a lovely girly day out together. To start things off, of course we had to get some food in our bellies! Somewhere we had both wanted to go to for ages, The Fudge Bakery & Restaurant,  It is such a cute place, pastels galore! I ordered the granola, yoghurt and berry breakfast (oooooh healthy!) and Em ordered the fluffy pancakes with bacon and syrup (I tried them, they were amazing)! I went for the tea option, which came in the most humongous mug!! Whereas Emma went for a flavoured latte! After a late shift, I think she needed waking up a little bit! The outside area was adorable, I really want to go back in the summer so that we can sit outside! Then we popped next door to their bakery, which was also incredible!! I bought a posh sausage roll and a vanilla iced doughnut for take out! Completely defeating the whole point of having a healthy breakfast... ah well! We then headed into town for some well deserved retail therapy! It's safe to say the Christmas shopping has began! I bought three Christmas gifts (eeeeeek!). It felt oh so good! I also received my Boohoo order later on that day, and oh my I did myself proud. Look out for a haul on my Youtube Channel soon. Here are some photo's from our day.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend!

YouTube: Another Homeware Haul

Happy Sunday! Time for a new video... Today, over on my channel I am talking about all the homeware bits and pieces I have picked up recently! Last weekend the decorating in my room finished, which meant I could add the finishing touches to my brand spanking bedroom! All the things mentioned in my video are completely affordable. I'm talking, Asda, Matalan, T.K.Maxx and many more! Also, now that my room is finished and looking all pretty, it's time for a room tour! So, stayed tuned for that!

I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend!

H&M Wish List

This weekend I am going on a girly shopping day with my friend, Em. Being the impatient person I am, I couldn't resist looking to see what's new in the shops already. H&M has definitely wiggled it's way to the top of my list for Saturday. I love that I can get back to wearing darker coloured clothing and loose fitted jumpers! I especially love the dark grey chunky knit cardigan, I think it's going to be one of those pieces that I am going to live and die in! It just looks so cosy and warm! I am also very interested in the Leather skirt, whether I can pull it off is a whole other story... But I think paired with some black tights and a smart wooly jumper it will look so cute! The sleeveless top I think will look great with my black disco pants and killer heels for a night out on the town! Then the mustard coloured blouse I think will spice up my usual boring outfit in the office, but still keeping the look professional and office like.

The prices at H&M are so affordable, it's great! Which is your favourite?

The Birthday Boy

Last Sunday it was Scott's birthday, so we spent the weekend celebrating by doing lots of his favourite things. One being horse racing, on Friday we travelled down to London to attend Champions Day at The Ascot Racecourse (apparently the most prestigious race day of the year!). I honestly wasn't expecting much but when we arrived I was kind of blown away by the scale of everything. It was almost like being in a huge arena! There was live music, a brass band, some amazing food in cute little vans and I even saw The Queen. Oh, and I won £40! Scott came up too, thank the lord, otherwise that would have been a long 4 hour drive home with a grumpy birthday boy! Then on Sunday he opened his presents in bed and I cooked us up some pancakes with lemon, sugar and Nutella (not together). Then in the afternoon we went for Sunday lunch at The Pipe and Glass Inn. It is the most gorgeous, warm welcoming, pub style restaurant. The food was incredible and the portion sizes were very generous! Scott had potted pork to start and I had the crab meat starter. Then we both had the Roast sirloin of beef for main. The only down side was that we were so full we couldn't fit desert in, so we took some salted caramel macaroons for take out. After a couple hours laze on the sofa watching Dexter, Scott's family came over with his presents and we ate my homemade blueberry and lemon curd loaf whilst watching the X factor. I then made Scott feel really old by telling him he'd now be in the over 25's category if he were to audition! The whole weekend was so lovely, it definitely made Monday at work a little more bearable, thinking of all the nice things we did (and ate). Here are some of the photo's we took over the weekend.

YouTube: Autumn Berry Makeup Tutorial

Hello there! Excuse me for skipping last Sunday's Video...
But today I am back with something brand spanking new, a makeup tutorial. Something very different to my usual video, but I really wanted to give the whole makeup tutorial thing a go! There's something about talking and applying makeup at the same time  I find very difficult. Somehow I even managed to absolutely nail my liquid eyeliner ON CAMERA!

I have gone for an Autumnal inspired berry makeup look and this is what I have been wearing a lot recently. I hope you like the finished look, let me know!

Food Festival Happiness!

On Sunday I had one of the most loveliest days! Probably because it involved eating food and wandering around markets, a favourite combination of mine! Every year in my hometown they put on a big food festival around Autumn time, featuring over 100 stalls,  selling lots of different local produce! Me being a massive foody, I always make sure I keep that date free!! This year me and my friend Hannah went along together. It was such a nice day, walking from stall to stall, tasting all the different foods they had to offer. These were some of my favourites...
Every year I see people walking around with these huge sticks of sprouts! So this year I treated my dad to some. Lucky old dad... He does love sprouts, but I think he was expecting something a little bit tastier!
Our bags were full to the brim, so we stopped off at Nero's for a long coffee break! We had a really good catch up and looked through all the yummy things we had bought!
After walking home, we enjoyed a slice of the carrot cake loaf and a cup of tea!
... and here is everything I bought! The homemade scotch egg and the Toblerone cupcake were my favourites!
It's safe to say I had a very happy tummy on Sunday!
